Soon I'll try to upload the poster I made which goes along with this project. I bounce back and forth about whether I like this, I think I did a good job considering the requirements (under a minute, subject is unique beauty, must have music that is composed by the artist or the artist's personal network.


I see HUGE room for improvement, I hate how long my name takes to pan out (also was a requirement). But I think I've come to a conclusion that I am proud considering it is my first video project and I went into it knowing nothing about video.

In other news, I am thinking about dropping my art major for a minor and minoring in Family Human Services instead. It's very hard for me to have the desire and drive I used to have regarding the creation of art on my own time. I see it as a chore, and worse than that, it's often the very last thing I want to do. I am never remotely satisfied with my final projects because they feel rushed or unfinished (even if I spend hours on mundane tasks). I also really dislike the structure of critiques in my last two design classes.

I can't wait to take studio and at the moment can not fathom dropping art in college altogether. I hate my 3D class with all I am and would give anything to drop it, but can't get a refund and would be considered part time student status (11 credits).

Anyway. I'm still going through the same stuff. I make stuff I hate. A lot of stuff I hate. And when I get the motivation to do something for myself it is nothing I would want to show on here (sketches of my cat, and other boring stuff that gives me joy because I can't do it otherwise.) More soon though, hopefully.

Check out the video and give me feedback and light critique if you'd like, just don't bash me to the ground as I realize its very elementary.
